11-15-08 Head to Toe Ladies Expo
Inspiration, Education and Entertainment... what a great turn-out! Attendees enjoyed the shopping village with 250 local and regional vendors and exhibitors.
A highlight of the weekend event was the media attention Beehive received. Two local news stations gave air time to Beehive! See our publicity page for two video newsclips.
11-08-08 Carlsbad Village Fair
In the 30th year of the faire, The Beehive Waxing Salon of Carlsbad participated by introducing themselves to the public, passing out promotional material and directing faire goers and potential clients to the salon a couple of blocks away for complimentary services on Sunday November 3. The booth was easy to find, unlike the salon, which can prove difficult to new clients.
The Beehive Salon is normally open Monday-Saturday (early mornings & evenings). But this was a special Sunday opening at the salon as we generally do on the Sunday or Sundays before holidays to accommodate time-crunched clients. The "new clients" were greeted at the salon with waiting waxing specialists (specially trained estheticians). Some experienced the so called "new threading technique" for eyebrows, which is actually "ancient" but has been revived because of all the new topicals used for acne and anti-aging. Welcome to the Beehive!!!
