Q. I have been growing my eyebrows out for months, and nothing seems to be happening. Is there anyway I can still get that perfect arch?
A. Yes! After years of over tweezing or over waxing, the hair follicle dies. So, what a lot of women have left with are thin, unattractive brows. But, it's not too late. If you come in for a consultation, we can show how you can still achieve that perfect arch by working with what you have. Example: maybe you still have baby hairs we could dye, so they look like eyebrow hairs or we could teach you how to use a brow stencil that will give you a perfect, natural looking brow.

Q. How do I know what the perfect eyebrow shape is for me?
A. The perfect or classic eyebrow shape for anyone should begin directly over the tear duct of the eye. The highest part of the arch should be at the outer edge of the iris or colored part of your eye. The brow should end at a diagonal line from the end of your nose to the end of your eye then to the end of your brow, kind of like connect the dots. Then, it is up to you to determine the thickness if your brow.

Q. Whenever I use a brow pencil, my eyebrows look so fake. What am I doing wrong?
A. A rule of thumb when it comes to brow pencils or powders is: if you are a brunette, use a brow color one shade lighter than your hair. If you are fair haired use a brow color one shade darker than your hair. And if you are still not sure, it is safer to go with the lighter shade.

Q. I am using a product on my face with glycolic acid in it. Can my face still be threaded?
A. Sure! Threading is an ancient Egyptian method of hair removal where the thread twirls around hair and pulls it out at the root, without pulling at the skin. So, threading is great for anyone with sensitive or thin skin.

Q. When you get threaded, do the hairs grow out faster than waxing?
A. No, the hairs grow out the same time as if you were getting waxed because, like waxing, the hair is getting pulled out at he root.
